We understand, and are daily involved in the technical legal requirements and other regulatory restrictions affecting a wide variety of charitable bodies and use our specialist expertise to help our clients achieve their objectives.
Our work involves all manner of operational property, including care homes and hospices, almshouses, schools, heritage properties, museums, churches of many different faiths, convents, nature reserves, city farms, hospitals and care villages.
It also includes property vested in trading subsidiaries, such as charity shops, offices and conference facilities. We address investment and management issues relating to residential, commercial and agricultural properties.
We have been closely involved in the development of law and regulation in this area and work closely with professional groups including the Charity Law Association, the Charity Property Association, the Ethical Property Federation and others in helping to ensure that developing law is drafted to take the specific requirements of the charity and voluntary sector into account.
