Contract law underpins the majority of business transactions so it is crucial that the documentation accurately reflects the parties intentions.

We regularly draft, negotiate and advise upon all types of business contracts. Our practice is never to over-complicate he contract unnecessarily nor to fill it with 'legalese' that serves no purpose. We aim for our drafting to be comprehensive yet concise and for it to assist in minimizing the chance of a dispute in the future. We want our client to understand their contract.

Our commercial contract advice is wide ranging and multi-sector. We advise on consumer contracts, terms and conditions, distribution agreements, agency arrangements, supply of goods & services contracts, IT contracts and joint venture or shareholders agreements.

Where necessary depending on the type of contract, we can bring in our commercial real estate, IP/IT, and employment teams to assist with particular commercial or drafting points.

Our commercial contract work is multi-sector but commonly in food & beverage, retail, education and technology.
