It is inevitable that some employment relationships end up in a dispute between the employer and the employee. 

Where we are acting for the employer, we are alive to the need to provide swift and decisive advice which goes beyond technical accuracy to also consider the wider context including the employer's aims, the impact of the dispute on the wider business and other employees and possible resulting publicity.

Our employment team represent clients in the Employment Tribunal in disputes ranging from unfair dismissal to discrimination, loss of rights, pension disputes and breaches of trust.  Our employer clients include large corporations, SMEs, LLPs and partnerships, schools, multi-academy trusts and not for profits and religious organisations.

It is rarely in anyone's interest for a dispute to reach an Employment Tribunal hearing.  Our employment team is experienced in exploring alternative solutions such as mediation of some type and discussions around and conclusion of settlement agreements.

Where litigation cannot be avoided, we advise clients at the earliest opportunity on the Tribunal process, costs and timeframes and will involve Counsel where appropriate to provide the client with a pragmatic and cost efficient team to get the best possible outcome in the proceedings.
